Andrea Belloni is a generative artist whose work emerges directly from the intersection of his scientific background and his passion for computer graphics. Holding a Physics degree from La Sapienza University in Rome, where he developed a fascination for complex systems, chaos theory, and fractals, Andrea spent several years working in robotics, control systems, and data analysis.
His artistic practice is defined by a unique constraint: every piece is the product of custom code he writes himself, deliberately eschewing traditional digital art tools or post-processing software. This code-centric approach allows him to explore the visualization of mathematical equations, the emergent complexity of cellular automata, the intricate beauty of fractal geometry (including strange attractors and Mandelbrot sets), and the organic forms generated by self-similar noise patterns.
After years of creating these complex visual simulations purely for personal satisfaction, Andrea began releasing reimagined versions of older programs and new creations as NFTs over the past three years on blockchains like Tezos, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. He is currently actively experimenting with Ordinals inscriptions, exploring their potential for digital art and future prints.
